Q: Why does the Clock on the space read 9:30 and resemble a ringing bell?
A: The Clock reads 9:30 because that's when the Stock Market opens on Wall Street. It resembles a ringing bell because every Trading Day officially begins with the ringing of The Opening Bell.

Q: How do I play a Regular Game?
A: Insert the Red Trading Day Peg into the Monday slot.

Q: How do I play a Short Game?
A: Insert the Red Trading Day Peg into the Wednesday slot.

Q: How is a Regular Game played for a week when there are only five days?
A: The game is played for a "Business Week" which is Monday to Friday.

Q: Do I have to follow the instructions on the space when I land on The Opening Bell?
A: Yes.

Q: Is The Opening Bell a Secondary Trade space?
A: Yes. Any trade you make when you land on this space is a Secondary Trade.

Q: Can I make a trade before I roll?
A: Yes. All players who wish to trade must do so before anyone rolls.

Q: What happens when I land on The Opening Bell?
A: You must move the Trading Day Peg up one day; and all free players must jump back here and continue the game. When the Peg reaches Game Over all free players remain on their respective spaces until the Liquidation process is complete.

Q: What is a "free" player?
A: A free player is one that is not trapped in the Gold Mine.

Q: Can trapped players jump back to The Opening Bell?
A: No.

Q: How does the Game End?
A: The game usually ends when the Peg reaches Game Over, which marks the end of the Trading Week.

Q: Do all free players jump back to The Opening Bell when the peg reaches Game Over?
A: No. All free players remain on their respective spaces until the Liquidation process is complete.

Q: What happens to trapped players when the peg reaches Game Over?
A: They automatically lose the game, regardless of their holdings.

Q: What's an example of a player landing on The Opening Bell?
A: Suppose Peter and Katie are free; and Alex and Morris are Trapped Together. Now suppose the Trading Day is Thursday and Peter lands on The Opening Bell. The Trading Day Peg is moved up to Friday and Katie must jump back to The Opening Bell and begin the new Trading Day. Alex and Morris remain trapped. Now Peter and Katie have the opportunity to trade; but they must both complete their trades before The Opening Bell (either one rolls).
